Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Skyly Android app handles information. Skyly is provided by the Skyly developer team. For privacy questions, contact skyly.app@gmail.com.

About Skyly

Skyly is a photo editing app that helps users change skies, apply visual styles, make simple adjustments, and save edited photos to their device.

Information Skyly uses

Skyly uses only the information needed to provide editing, subscriptions, ads, and app privacy choices:

  • Photos you select from your device for editing.
  • Images you share into Skyly from another app.
  • Edited images saved to your device when you choose to export them.
  • Subscription status provided by Google Play so Skyly can unlock Pro features.
  • Ad-related information and consent choices processed by Google advertising services where ads are shown.

Skyly does not require a Skyly account and does not ask for your name, password, contacts, precise location, phone number, or payment card details.

How Skyly uses information

Skyly uses selected photos only to provide the editing features you choose, including sky replacement filters, image adjustments, previews, and exports. Skyly processes selected photos on your device, including automated sky detection for sky replacement. Skyly does not upload selected photos to a Skyly server for this processing.

Skyly does not use selected photos to train AI models, personalize ads, sell user data, or build a cloud photo library. Subscription status is used to unlock or restore Pro sky filters. Advertising and consent information is used to show ads and provide privacy choices where required.

Photo access

Skyly requests access to photos so you can choose images to edit. Depending on your Android version, you may grant access to selected photos only or to your image library. You can change app permissions in Android settings.

Purchases and subscriptions

Skyly offers a Pro subscription that unlocks Pro sky filters. Purchases, free trials, renewals, cancellations, and payment processing are handled by Google Play. Skyly does not receive or store your payment card information.

Advertising and consent

Skyly may show ads in the free experience. Ads and consent choices are handled through Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform. These services may process information such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP address, app interactions, diagnostics, and consent choices to provide ads, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and comply with privacy choices. Where required, Skyly provides ad privacy choices in the app.

You can learn more about how Google uses data from apps that use its services at Google's partner sites and apps policy.

Third-party services

Skyly uses third-party services to provide subscriptions, ads, consent choices, platform features, and app distribution:

  • Google Play Billing for subscriptions and purchase status.
  • Google AdMob for advertising.
  • Google User Messaging Platform for advertising consent and privacy choices.
  • Android and Google Play services for platform features such as media access and app distribution.

Image assets and licenses

Some Skyly visual assets may include photos sourced from Pexels. Pexels photos and videos are available for free personal and commercial use under the Pexels License. Attribution is not required, but the original Pexels License terms continue to apply.

Data sharing

Skyly does not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by the third-party services listed above when needed to provide subscriptions, ads, consent choices, app functionality, fraud prevention, security, or legal compliance. Skyly does not share selected photos with Google advertising services for ad targeting.

Data retention

Skyly keeps editing state only as needed for the active app session or normal app operation. Exported photos remain on your device unless you delete them. Google Play and Google advertising services may retain information according to their own policies.

Skyly does not provide Skyly user accounts. Because Skyly does not store selected photos on Skyly servers, there is no Skyly account or cloud photo library to delete. You can delete exported photos from your device and uninstall the app to remove local app data. If you have a data deletion request, contact us at skyly.app@gmail.com.

Security

Skyly limits access to information needed for app functionality. Payment details are handled by Google Play, and ad consent choices are handled through Google's consent tools where applicable.

Children

Skyly is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through Skyly, contact us so we can review the concern.

Your choices

  • You can grant full photo access, selected photo access, or deny access where Android provides those choices.
  • You can manage or cancel Pro subscriptions in Google Play.
  • You can access ad privacy choices in the app when Google requires those options.
  • You can uninstall the app to remove local app data from your device.
  • You can delete exported photos from your device at any time.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Skyly changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
